Greyhound bus from PG crashes en route to Jasper

(Canadian Press) Greyhound Canada says 21 people were sent to hospital in Jasper, Alta., with mostly minor injuries after one of its buses drove off of a highway near the mountain resort community.

The injured included the driver and 20 passengers.

RCMP say they bus ended up in a ditch shortly before 6 a.m. Monday.

The bus was en route from Prince George, British Columbia, to Edmonton.

Greyhound says there were 35 customers on board and one driver.

Passengers who were not injured were transported to the town’s fire hall to keep warm until another bus picked them up.

The cause of the crash is under investigation

It was a Sunday fun day at the CN Centre as the City celebrated the arena's 30th anniversary. Plenty of residents got onto the ice at the arena for a free public skate, that went along with food, drinks, and cake.
