Prince George Spruce Kings 4 Victoria Grizzlies 2
The Spruce Kings lead the Coastal Conference final 1-0 with game two in the best-of-seven series tonight in Prince George.
The Spruce Kings stretched their home win streak to 14 games by building up a 4-0 lead before the Grizzlies got on the board midway through the second period.
Both Patrick Cozzi and Corey Cunningham notched a goal and an assist for P.G. before a standing room only crowd of 2,067.
Prince George outshot Victoria 40-27.
The Spruce Kings have won 21 of their last 23 overall games.

The Cougars lead the best-of-three BCMML final 1-0 with game two this afternoon at 3:00 with a third game, if needed, Sunday morning at 10:30.
Xavier Cannon posted the shutout and Cariboo got goals from Grady Thomas, Brett Fudger and Curtis Hammond.

RINGETTE:
The Prince George Rush lost all four ot its round robin games in the 18 + division at the Western Canadian ringette championships in St. Albert, Alberta.
Prince George fell 10-3 to Alberta and 7-0 to host St. Albert on Friday.
They were also beaten 9-2 by Manitoba and 10-4 by Saskatchewan on Thursday.
The Rush will play one final game for 4th and 5th in the five-team tournament today (10:00 a.m. PT).

PG HALL OF FAME:
The Prince George Sports Hall of Fame 12th Annual Induction Dinner will be held tonight at the Hart Community Centre.
There are three new inductees – Cliff Hucul, Brian Martinson, and Elisha Williams to bring the PG Sports Hall of Fame total to 78.
In addition, 12 Prince George Youth will receive Excellence awards.
They are Jonah Brittons, Ben Hendrickson, Kimoko Kamstra, Natasha Kozlowski, Anna MacDonald, Eric Orlowsky, Colburn Pearce, Derian Potskin, Ainslee Rushton, Matthew Shand, Zenze Stanley-Jones and Jordan Vertue.
