The search of the property yielded more than 55 kilograms (121 pounds) of dried cannabis, a significant amount of other forms of cannabis products, several firearms, ammunition and more than $550,000.

The two arrested, a woman and a man, were released without charge pending further investigation.

Police estimate the total value of the cash and cannabis to be approximately $1,000,000.

“This is a substantial seizure resulting from the investigation of persons previously not known to police,” said Insp. Shaun Wright, Operations Officer for the Prince George RCMP.

“Our officers will continue to target those persons that do not abide by Canadian law, including the Cannabis Act.”
