Outcry over Ice Cream Express having no home

A Beloved Prince George institution might be shutting its doors forever if they can’t find another location soon.

Ice Cream Express just announced on Facebook that RONA told them they had to move their stand from the stores parking lot.

In a post on Facebook, the owners said, “we are in shock but believe when a door closes another will open… We understand this is the price of doing business .”

The shop has been open for over 10 years, and In the two hours since the shop posted the news, they have already generated a lot of outrage and support.

The post announcing the news has been shared 277 times with 218 comments.

Owners said although they wish they knew when they closed in the fall, RONA has offered 3 months free.
