Rash of odd thefts have Police warning the public

A series of strange thefts have been taking place across Prince George, prompting the RCMP to issue warnings to all Ford F-150 trucks.

Since December 19th, Police have received 11 different reports of stolen fuel from these pick up trucks. Where a hole has actually been drilled into the gas tank.

In addition, there have been numerous other reports of stolen equipment like LED lights, Tires and Rims taken right from the vehicles.

The thefts appear to be taking place after dark and occurring in driveways or parking lots, with the Hart and College Heights at particular risk.

Police would like to warn all F-150 owners and other vehicles with aftermarket equipment to secure property accordingly and to report any suspicious activity.

Anyone with information on these offences is asked to contact the Prince George RCMP.
