Permanent road closure on Sixth Avenue

Starting May 21 Sixth Avenue between Dominion Street and Quebec Street will be permanently closed to vehicle traffic.

The closure is due to a construction project led by Mundi Hotel Enterprises and constructed by Horizon North Logistics.

“The road will be closed permanently to allow some trailers to be installed on the street,” said Senior Communications Officer for the City Michael Kellett.

Prince George City Council approved the road closure and sale in 2018.
