Dungeons and Dragons rule book number one Kickstarter in PG

A Dungeons and Dragons (D and D) how to book has just topped the list for the most successful Kickstarter campaign in Prince George.

Ultramodern5 is a sci-fi rule book written by author Chris Diaz teaching people how to play the game but with some modern elements.

Diaz said this was a big step to better establish his fan base.

“We funded in only 48 hours, and that’s just about generating inertia.”

Diaz said his original goal was to raise $15,000, but in just three days his campaign has skyrocketed to the number one spot reaching over $56,000.

“The purpose of the campaign is to raise money so we can get pre-orders to have the book published. It will help pay for the writing, the artwork, and the physical print run.”

This is not Diaz first successful Kickstarter; he also holds the number three spot for a previous D and D project.

The campaign is open for a few more days with the option of making a smaller contribution towards a digital copy or $74 investment for a hard copy of the book.
