PG SOCCER:
Prince George Youth Soccer is hosting the Provincial Boys`B`Cup championships at the PGYSA Fields and Masich Place Stadium.
A total of 48 teams have been competing including the the PG Impact (in the Under-13, Under-15 and Under-18 divisions).
Finals are scheduled for this afternoon at 2:00.
NBA:
The LA Clippers won the Kawhi Leonard sweepstakes.
The 28-year-old Leonard is getting a max four-year deal with the Clippers worth $142 million.
In a stunning development, the Clippers have also acquired Paul George from the Oklahoma City Thunder in exchange for four unprotected first-round picks, one protected first-round pick, two pick swaps and two players (Shai Gilgeous-Alexander & Danilo Gallinari).
The Toronto Raptors are not just losing Leonard but Danny Green as well.
Green is joining the LA Lakers on a two-year deal worth a reported $30 million.

Roger Federer broke a Wimbledon record by reaching the fourth round for the 17th time.
The eight-time Wimbledon champion won his 350th Grand Slam singles match with a straight sets victory over Lucas Pouille.
Canadian Milos Raonic, the men`s 15th seed from Thornhill Ont., advanced to the round of 16
on Friday with a straight sets triumph over American Reilly Opelka.
Canadian Felix Auger-Aliassime is out after losing in straight sets in round three.
JUNIOR GOLF:
Both Prince George golfers finished in the top 25 at the BC Junior Boys and Girls golf championships in Nanoose Bay.
On the boys’ side, Cody Bailey tied for 21st (rounds of 75, 72, 79, 77) with a 19-over-303 total, 20 strokes off the pace.
In the girls’ division, Natasha Kozlowski placed 15th (rounds of 78, 84, 84, 84) with a 330 score, 32 shots from the top.
