Foodie Fridays return to PG

No need to pack a lunch next Friday because the City of Prince George has announced the return of Foodie Fridays.

Starting next week, every Friday at the Canada Games Plaza until September 6 will feature local food trucks and sidewalk vendors.

Jen Rubadeau, Civic Events Coordinator with the City, said the event always gets a good response.

“This is the fourth year, and the response has been amazing. we get great attendance down at the event, a wide variety of age ranges, and people are enjoying the summer weather.”

Every week from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. she said there will be a variety of vendors from ice cream to smoked meats.

“Foodie Fridays is an opportunity to eat lunch outside while listening to live music; there are tons of food vendors down in the plaza as well.”
