PG celebrates local businesses, food, and entertainment at Summerfest

Downtown Prince George Executive Director, Colleen Van Mook said despite the fact there was a bit of rain everyone is enjoying the food and entertainment.

“We have definitely some new restaurants, 22 restaurants, and four food trucks, so there are 52 different food opportunities because everyone has two food options.”

Van Mook said even though the food stands are a popular attraction people are enjoying the entertainment like the Hockey Circus Show.

The musical line-up happening on the TD Main Stage played through the rain, keeping the party going and the vendors kept the grill hot and food cooking.

“With 60 exhibitors I can’t even name it all. The Cougars are there as well, and we have a lot of or corporations that are showing.”
