Skating event cancelled at PG ICEMAN

It’s been a bit warm by Prince George standards for the past couple of weeks, and that has caused the first local casualty.

Due to the temperature gauge misbehaving, officials have cancelled the Skating portion of the 28th annual PG ICEMAN.

Its been deemed that the use of the Ice Oval this weekend would cause significant damage to the ice, thus impacting Canada Winter Games events.

Even though the skates must be packed away, the rest of the event will continue as planned and hot chocolate will now be served to everyone at the Ice Oval transition.
