The BCNE is done for another year and the organizers were quite happy with the way things turned despite the wild ride Mother Nature gave everyone in attendance.

President, Sylvia Layzell told MyPGNow.com there were two events that turned out to be crowd-pleasers.

“Jousting, everyone loves the noodle jousting as that was a great comedy show and it went really well as everyone had a blast and our BBQ cook-off was cool to watch.”

The competition was won by Country 97’s very own Kurt Flesher.

Layzell adds they were quite happy with the attendance of the fair despite the wet weather that occurred over the weekend.

“Even with the rain, the parking lot was packed and I was amazed. I think people were thankful that there was no smoke so the rain didn’t scare away as many people as I thought it might.”

Layzell adds the board plans to meet soon to debrief this year`s fair and what can be improved for 2020.
