Three people taken into custody following situation on Norwood Street

Prince George RCMP along with the North District Emergency Response Team converged around a residence on the 2100 block of Norwood Street this morning (Tuesday) at 5 o’clock.

According to police, this was a part of a weapons-related investigation.

“Officers spoke with the occupants of the residence, and at approximately 8 A.M. three persons: a 35-year-old male, a 41-year-old male, and a 50-year-old female exited the residence and were taken into custody without incident,” said RCMP Cpl. Craig Douglass.

Police are seeking a criminal code search warrant as their investigation continues.
