Summertime activities featured in City of PG’s Active Living Guide

Despite Environment Canada’s prediction of a cool spring, Prince George residents may be ready to start looking forward to Spring and Summer fitness.

The updated Prince George Active Living Guide has been published by the City of PG.

Programs and events developed by several community organizations are featured alongside City-organized activities.

Prince George’s aquatics department, including lesson schedules, received significant attention ahead of the building of the new downtown pool.

Alongside the guide, the Spring Active Living Market will be hosted at Pine Centre Mall Saturday and Sunday, with more details available from Tourism Prince George.

“It’s kind of a one-stop-shop for people looking for something to do in the Spring and Summer,” said City Community Co-Ordinator, Marta Gregor.

She added that activities for all age groups are considered when compiling the bi-yearly guide, with a larger focus on parks and outdoor activities for the Spring edition.

The full guide is available online.
