Prince George’s Park Drive-In is making plans to open up soon.
Owner Nina Keba told MyPGNow.com they are shooting for an early May opening.
She adds there will be some physical distancing measures in place when it comes to vehicles.
“It’s family entertainment where you can stay in your own vehicle and you don’t have to worry about that social distancing too much, we’re going to put the capacity down to about half and we’re going to make sure you’ll park far enough away but you’ll still have the privacy to watch a movie in your own vehicle.”
“We’re going to make sure we have social distancing set up in the bathrooms and offer a very small concession so you can still get the theatre-style popcorn and we’ll be delivering any concessions to your vehicle.”
Keba states the excitement is building to get a new season off the ground.
“We’re just waiting for the snow to melt and once it’s melted we are open for business. We’ll post updates as soon as we know.”
Since no new movies are out right now, they are asking residents what old films they would like to see.
