2015 Budget garners reaction from PG Chamber and BCTF

Tuesdays BC Budget announcement has seen reaction from several different groups including the BCTF and Chamber of Commerce.

Prince George Chamber President Ranjit Gill says many incentives and tax credits are obviously being well received:

“I think that they are listening to what taxpayers are saying, they are extending or increasing 50 tax credits and they are introducing new ones. For the North some of the important impacts are the rural internet connectivity, [as] we have been looking to do that for a number of years”

On the opposite side, the BC teachers federation slammed the it. As they say its just a broken promise from the Liberal government and plays a shell game with education funding. Also mentioning that it forces cutbacks on school districts, and sees an increase on MSP premiums.
