BC’s Patti Knezevic of Prince George finished 1-10 after a 5-4 loss to Nova Scotia at the National Scotties Tournament of Hearts in Moose Jaw. Nova Scotia scored the winning point in the final end. The Knezevic foursome (which includes 3rd Kristen Fewster, 2nd Jen Rusnell & lead Rhonda Camozzi) dropped its final seven games. Earlier in the day, they fell 10-7 to Newfoundland and Labrador. Knezevic was outscored 84-40 in the 10 losses.
–Alberta and Manitoba have both advanced to the one-two page playoff game at the Scotties. Saskatchewan will play in the three-four game against the winner of the Team Canada-Northern Ontario final round robin match-up.
