Charges approved in three seperate 2019 drug investigations

The Federal Prosecution Service of Canada has approved charges related to three separate drug investigations conducted in Prince George last year.

 36-year-old Sean William Loutit and 30-year-old Katelyn Loutit of Prince George have been charged with possession of cannabis for trafficking, possession of a loaded restricted firearm and careless storage of a firearm.

The March 2019 search of a property yielded 121 lbs of dried cannabis and other cannabis products, several firearms and more than $550,000 in cash with a total value of approximately $1-million.

Both accused are scheduled to appear in court on September 23rd.

Meanwhile, three Prince George men have also been charged with several counts of possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking.

A July 2019 search yielded a ‘significant’ amount of cash, cocaine, meth and fentanyl.

Marshall Luther Cade (26),  John Jacob Ceal (30), and Shawn Brian Whaling (27) are scheduled to appear in court September  23.

In addition, Whaling is facing two other charges of possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking and possession of a loaded firearm without a licence and will appear in court September 30.
