One person died after a collision on Highway 16, four kilometres east of Smithers.
The fatal was between Old Babine Lake Road and Viewmount Road.
Corporal Madonna Saunderson confirms the incident happened at about 3:15 pm today (Thursday).
“Emergency Services were called to the scene of a collision involving a motorcycle and a pickup truck and one person was pronounced deceased at the scene,” she said.
The investigation is ongoing and causal factors have not yet been determined.
Anyone who may have witnessed this crash is asked to call the Smithers RCMP.
