Environment Canada has issued a severe thunderstorm watch for Prince George.
The organization says conditions are ‘favourable’ for the development of severe thunderstorms that may be capable of producing large hail.
“A cold front moving through the central interior is generating showers and isolated thunderstorms this afternoon,” the warning reads.
The alert was issued at 1:30 this afternoon.
