The Prince George Chamber of Commerce held their 35th annual Business Excellence Awards last night (Monday).
“Normally the event welcomes around 500-600 people,” says CEO of PG Chamber of Commerce, Tod Corrigall.
This year the event was held virtually and had a  “Response, Recovery, and Resiliency” theme, a nod to the hardships faced by businesses big and small amid the COVID-19 pandemic.
“The meaning behind the awards don’t change, but it reinforces the message to our community that these are businesses that are here, they’ve been here for a long time and they’re hopefully not going anywhere,” added Corrigall.
Books & Co was the recipient of two awards, the Top Workplace Culture award and the Service Excellence award.
