BX Pub returns with vengeance following vandalized mural

The (locally) Instagram-famous wing mural painted on the side of BX pub in Prince George was vandalized earlier this week.

The mural was completed in early October by local artist, Sonny Gomez and has been visited and photographed by plenty of people.

However, the pub released in a statement on Facebook plans to re-create a ‘vandal-proof’ version of the mural.

“We WILL come back with a stronger, better and vandal-proof version,” read the Facebook post.

In addition, the Pub wrote the following on their Facebook page:

“We have 2 cameras on the art and PM’s from the public suggesting who may be responsible. We know it’s exceptionally upsetting! And with that being said there have already been numerous comments, ideas and offers to assist with what to do next.”
