A slight change will be coming to parking in down-town Prince George.
At last night’s city council meeting, councillors changed the times traffic workers will start chalking traffic in the core.
This refers to when is where traffic workers chalk the tires to see if it has moved within the two hour time allowance.
By-law Services Manager Fred Crittenden says workers will now start chalking at eight am instead of nine am.
“And that will allow us to more effectively move traffic regularly around for some of those businesses that depend on it,” says Crittenden.
Council also removed the 2014 by-law rates so that there is less confusion when residents look them up.
