Update 3:35 PM
Traffic is flowing on Ospika Boulevard once again following a two-vehicle crash between Range and Davis Road this morning (Tuesday)
Investigators determined the vehicle heading north on Ospika lost control coming out of a bend and crossed the centre meridian, entering the southbound lane and making contact with the oncoming vehicle.
Cst. Jennifer Cooper spoke with MyPGNow.com.
“We do know that one of the drivers was airlifted to Vancouver General Hospital with severe injuries and the other driver was released this afternoon after receiving treatment for their injuries (at University Hospital).”
She added alcohol and drugs are not considered factors in the collision, investigators are looking into whether mechanical issues or speed contributed to the crash.
