Update: Snowfall warning lifted for Pine Pass

The snowfall warning has been lifted as of this afternoon.

Original:

Environment Canada has issued a snowfall warning for Highway 97 and the Pine Pass.

A frontal system is spreading snow to the area, to continue today (Sunday).

About 20 cm of snow is expected by this afternoon.

“Be prepared to adjust your driving with changing road conditions,” says the warning.

It adds weather in the mountains can change suddenly.
