City of PG funded graffiti removal service back for another year

Its almost time again, as Prince George residents can soon have graffiti removed with one click of a button.

Community coordinator Cheryl Livingstone-Leman says the City of PG started the Graffiti Free PG program based on the mayors task force on crime:

“…and it was found that when there is graffiti there is increased crime in those particular areas, so its our job through the bylaw service to make sure that graffiti is covered up”

Livingstone-Leman says the process can be started simply by visiting the city website, or by picking up a form from city hall. She encourages everyone to report all graffiti where it exists as they will be sending out painting teams starting on May 1st.
