Pop-up market for Positive Living North comes to PG

Northern Interior Communities Association (NICA) is holding a pop-up market to raise money for a mural for Positive Living North in Prince George.

The pop-up market is on Sunday (August 29), between 11 AM and 3 PM at 1594 3rd ave, and will have music, food vendors, and other local businesses.

“Putting a mural on the west side of the Positive Living North building will highlight those connections in the community. It will also reference the Indigenous community in Prince George,” said Margaret Jackson with NICA.

The mural will be made by Creations by Kate, and a replica of the mural will be showcased at the event.

“It’s so important to have a mural of that magnitude to showcase that Prince George is a united community. And if you look at the word community, unity is in community.”

Live Well Prince George will also be holding a 50/50 raffle.
