Residents protest immunization record policy in front of Mr.PG

A large group of residents of all ages gathered in front of Mr.PG this morning (Saturday) to protest the immunization record policy being implemented on Monday.

The policy will prohibit BC residents from entering a number of businesses and events without proof of COVID-19 immunization.

Attendees held signs with numerous slogans such as “Mandates Violate Bodily Autonomy”, “Stop COVID Tyranny”, to “No X Vaccine Passport”.

The PPC showed up with plenty of signage and even sold t-shirts at the protest, however, one attendee claimed it was not organized by the party.

Two men were yelling into megaphones on the side of the highway, advocating for “freedom of medical choice”.

One protestor said the media has been improperly representing the group and noted that the protests in front of hospitals held across BC over the past few weeks were for “pro-medical freedom” rather than “anti-vaccination”.
