Ginter’s Meadow pond construction begins today

Map of construction access (Photo supplied by City of Prince George)

The City of Prince George has crews working to fix the effects that soil erosion has had near the pond in Ginter’s Meadow today (Tuesday).

Residents can still access the UNBC connector trail and the parking lot but may see some temporary disruptions with vehicles and equipment on and around the trail.

The inlet structure is being repaired, the broken gabion basket is being replaced, and the eroded sediment is being removed.

An on-site flag person will redirect traffic when needed and the construction is expected to wrap up by the end of next week.
