Two Rivers Gallery receives government grant

Prince George’s Two Rivers Gallery has received a nice chunk of funding from the BC government.

Prince George – Valemount MLA Shirley Bond says $24,500 will go towards supporting the Gallery’s MakerLab:

“The concept of a Makerlab is something quite new and it’s very innovative. It’s a place where people can go where there is space and tools, and this particular grant will focus on youth and they will be able to be part of a program where tools are available of all types of varieties”

The government of BC is allocating a record high $24 million dollars towards the BC Arts Council to support artists, activities and culture in communities throughout British Columbia.
