Rowan Miller snapped a 3-3 tie by scoring his second goal of the game on the power-play with just 2:42 left in the third period before 1,000 fans at the RMCA.

The Capitals were missing Keagan Goulet, Brooklyn Hutchings, and Hailey Armstrong, all of whom helped B.C. claim gold at the Western Regional Women’s Under-18 Championship in Portage la Prairie, Manitoba. In Saturday’s final, Armstrong scored the game-winner in a 3-2 overtime victory against Alberta.
The (9-5-0-1) Capitals are in 1st place in the 5-team league by three points over the (8-0) Fraser Valley Rush, however, Fraser Valley has seven games in hand. The Capitals visit the (0-10) Greater Vancouver Comets Saturday night at 5:15 and Sunday afternoon at 12:15 in Richmond.
