Snowfall Warning set for Prince George

Environment Canada has issued a Snowfall Warning for Northern BC.

Prince George, Hixon, Highway 97, Vanderhoof, Fort St. James, McBride, Valemount, and Yellowhead Highway will be affected.

10 to 20 cm of snow is expected between tomorrow (Tuesday) morning and Wednesday morning.

“An approaching winter storm will give snow to the B.C. Interior. Snowfall will begin early Tuesday morning and intensify late in the morning. There will be a brief reprieve of heavy snow Tuesday overnight. However, this will be short lived and accumulating snowfall will return Wednesday morning before tapering off to flurries by Wednesday afternoon,” read the release.
