A 26-year-old man with ties to Prince George is back in police custody.
On Monday, Sam Anthony Rossetti was tracked down by the Kamloops RCMP on Southill Street after conducting surveillance along the 1900-block of Tranquille Road.
In May, he was wanted on unendorsed warrants related to several crimes including break and enter, and assault with a weapon.
He was taken into custody and appeared in court today (Tuesday).
Rossetti has a lengthy history with the PG detachment. In October of 2016, he was charged in connection with a pair of vehicle and jewelry thefts in the city.
In addition, police were looking to track down Rossetti, who was 19 at the time, in connection to a shed fire on the 500 block of Toronto Street near 4th Avenue that occurred in August of 2014.
