City crews out paving the way to smoother roads

Prince George roads are receiving some tender loving care starting today.

7 Projects are well underway as part of the road and sidewalk rehabilitation project for the 2015 season.

Hot asphalt crews will be out for the next week, and Supervisor Mick Jones says they began with the most expensive project:

“We have just started a couple of projects, we have got the Foothills Boulevard asphalt paving that started today and we hope to have that completed and finished paving later today, and we have got 6 other projects that we are hoping to complete on the road rehab side and we have also started on the sidewalk up on Southridge avenue”

Foothills Boulevard has an estimated cost of around $373,000 dollars.

The expected completion date for all these projects is May 14th, and Motorists are being advised to look for alternate routes whenever possible and to drive with caution around road crews.
