Preliminary results have Milton Mahoney as PG trustee

Preliminary results are in from  the School District 57 Trustee by-election.

In a close race, Milton Mahoney is the preliminary winner by 12 votes over Brian Trotter for the Prince George trustee spot.

Only 72 votes separated the top four finishers.

  • Milton Mahoney: 293 votes
  • Brian Trotter: 281 votes
  • Audrey McKinnon: 267 votes
  • Shannon Freeman: 221 votes
  • Andrew Burton: 75 votes

Rachel Weber is the preliminary winner of the trustee spot in Mackenzie.

  • Rachel Weber: 76 votes
  • David Szucsko: 38 votes

School District 57 says these results are based on the ballot accounts prepared respect to each of the voting places, and are subject to final determination of official election results.
