Utility repairs will shut down part of PG’s 15th avenue

Tomorrow morning (Thursday) around 7 AM will see both eastbound lanes and one westbound lane on 15th avenue in Prince George get shut down for repairs.

A sewer pipe broke last month, and crews will be ripping up sections of road between Redwood and Victoria Street.

Road crews will begin prep around 6 AM, and surrounding businesses and residences will not lose water or sewage access.

The work is expected to continue until the weekend.

Westbound traffic will remain single lane, and a detour will be available down Spruce Street and up 17th avenue to get to Victoria Street.
