Prince George residents looking for fresh, local foods will have another option to buy.
Starting this month, the Eagles Farmers Market will be opening up.
“It starts up on May 15, and into October as weather permits,” said Market Manager Jerry Hartell.
“It’s a fundraiser for the Eagles, they thought they’d have a go at it. It’s a fraternal order, a non-profit organization.”
Hartell said the Eagles are involved in pretty much anything, and make donations to charity organizations.
He added the market will be at the Eagles Hall, located at 6742 Dagg Road.
