Charges have been approved against two individuals in a drug trafficking investigation from last year.
On January 27th, 2021, the Prince George RCMP’s Street Crew Unit began a drug trafficking investigation, targeting two residences on the 100-block of McIntyre Crescent.
With assistance from from Frontline officers and the Police Dog Service unit, investigators executed two Controlled Drug and Substance act search warrants.
Several firearms, over $9,000 in cash, and more than 750 grams of suspected cocaine were seized.
The Public Prosecution Service of Canada has approved charges against two people in connection with this investigation, both of whom are known to police.
Justin David George Dupray:
- Possession for the purpose of trafficking
- Possession of a prohibited or restricted firearm
Tor Liam Green:
- Possession for the purpose of trafficking
“Street crew is continuing its efforts to disrupt the illicit drug trade through targeted enforcement,” said Cpl. Dan Morris, Commander of the Street Crew Unit.
“The drugs and illegally possessed firearms from this investigation significantly hindered a drug trafficking network operating in Prince George.”
The file is now before the courts.
