College of New Caledonia becomes latest community partner for BC Summer Games

The support continues to flow in for next month’s BC Summer Games here in Prince George.

Today (Wednesday), the College of New Caledonia jumped on board as an official Community Partner with an in-kind donation as a venue to support the event.

Director of Friends of the Games, Mindy Stroet stated via news release that “Both financial and in-kind support are so important to make the Games a success. CNC is an important hub for this event. It will not only be home to sporting events but is where all 3000 participants will be fed for the entirety of the Games.”

CNC has been in B.C.’s Central Interior since 1969 with over 100,000 alumni benefitting from their numerous academic programs and opportunities.

“CNC’s mission is to provide access to life-long learning and facilitate the achievement of educational and personal goals. We are excited to host athletes and their support people while they are in Prince George and wish them all the best in their competitions,” said Dr. Dennis Johnson, CNC President, and CEO.

The games run from July 21-24.
