Prince George Fire Rescue Fire Chief Cliff Warner says the cause of the fire has been deemed as accidental.
He added there was limited structural damage, but fairly extensive smoke damage.
“We ventilated the smoke and extinguished the fire, and that was the extent of the incident,” Warner said.
There were five people in the home at the time of the fire, but Warner says they were all out of the building when fire crews arrived.
