Four Rivers Co-op absorbing 10 Husky gas stations across the north

10 Husky gas stations around northern BC are about to become Four Rivers Co-op stations, including three in Prince George.

The Husky on Range Road beside Costco, the Husky near Spruceland Mall, and the Husky / A&W station at the top of the hart highway hill are all about to move from blue to red.

“We look forward to expanding our brand presence” said Co-op General Manager Allan Bieganski. “We are also very excited to work with existing managers and employees at these locations.”

This is part of a greater acquisition that is seeing 171 Husky sites in B.C. and Ontario change hands, moving to Federation Co-operative, the Four Rivers Co-op parent company.

Bieganski says the tentative schedule for the rebrand will happen sometime between January and March, whenever the detailing company comes to the northern BC 10 of the 171 total Husky locations.

The other locations that will be changing hands are in Kitimat, Terrace, Burns Lake, Quesnel, 100 Mile House, and two in Williams Lake.
