Republicans make gains but “Red Wave” comes up flat during US Midterms

The ballots are still being totalled but the expected wave of Republican victories in yesterday’s (Tuesday) mid-term elections in the U-S doesn’t appear to have occurred.

The party may have won back control of the House of Representatives….but its majority may be as slim as one seat…..and that will cause problems for the party leadership.

The control of the Senate is still undecided.

Media reports say more than 175 Republican candidates who refuse to accept Joe Biden’s 2020 presidential victory won contests at state and federal levels.
