WHL:

The (10-9) Prince George Cougars are on Vancouver Island and will play the (3-14-3) Victoria Royals tonight (Friday) and Saturday.

The Cougars lead the B.C. Division by one point over the Kamloops Blazers, but the (8-4-2-1) Blazers have four games in hand.

BCHL: 

The (11-5-1-1) Prince George Spruce Kings visit the (7-9-1-1) Trail Smoke Eaters tonight and the (18-0) Penticton Vees on Saturday.

Prince George is 3rd in the 9-team Interior Division.

The Spruce Kings are coming off Wednesday’s 5-2 victory over the Alberni Valley Bulldogs before 651 fans at the Kopar Memorial Arena.

The (5-4-1) U18 Cariboo Cougars host the (9-3) Okanagan Rockets Saturday night (5:45) at Kin 2 and Sunday afternoon at 12:45 at CN Centre.

The (5-9-2) Northern Capitals play in Kelowna against the (4-7-0-1) Thompson-Okanagan Lakers tonight at 5:15, Saturday afternoon at 1:15, and Sunday morning at 8:30.

The UNBC Timberwolves visit the Fraser Valley Cascades tonight at 6:00 and 8:00 and Saturday night at 5:00 and 7:00 in Canada West basketball.

Grey Cup weekend hits Regina.

The two-time defending champion Winnipeg Blue Bombers meet the Toronto Argonauts in the 109th Grey Cup game on Sunday.

It will be played at Mosaic Stadium with kickoff just after 3 p.m. PST.

The Blue Bombers are 4.5-point favorites.
