PG Fire Rescue was called to the 1300 block of Alex Drive in the early hours of this morning on a report of a structure fire.
Crews from three halls responded to the report at around 2:00 this morning.
When they arrived, crews found an extensive fire in the main floor area of a residential home.
According to the city, one resident suffered burns and was treated on the scene by fire crews.
They were then taken to hospital by paramedics.
The damage is estimated to be $285,000, and the cause is under investigation by the RCMP.
