The Prince George Spruce Kings are heading into the holiday break on a losing note following a 3-2 loss to the Chilliwack Chiefs.
Brayden Skogstad got the scoring going for the Spruce Kings in front of 2,002 fans at the Chilliwack Coliseum.
The Chiefs answered back with three straight goals to give them a 3-1 lead heading into the third period.
Kai Greaves scored on the powerplay to bring the Spruce Kings within one, but that would be it for Prince George.

With the loss, the Spruce Kings drop to 15-11-1-1 on the season, and sit fourth in the BCHL’s Interior Division standings.
The Chilliwack Chiefs (13-14-0-1) are fifth in the Coastal Division.

The Spruce Kings will be out of action for two weeks for their holiday break.
They’ll hit the ice again on December 30th, when they play their first of a doubleheader against the Wenatchee Wild in Wenatchee.
