The Spruce Kings were welcomed back after Christmas break with a wild one south of the border.

Entering the second period down 2-0, the Kings got to work.

Amran Bhabra scored his second of the year at 8:30 to make it 2-1, but the Wild would strike again just over a minute later to restore the two goal lead.

Then, two late period goals from Jake Schneider and Ty Gagno brought the Spruce Kings to a tie entering the third.

The comeback was not over, Wenatchee took the lead again 6:21 into the third.

Killian McGregor-Bennett would be the one to force overtime with the Kings’ second game tying goal at 10:55.

Prince George went 0/4 on the powerplay and 2/3 penalty killing.

They outshot Wenatchee 39-26.
