Highway 16 around Prince George will have some work done this summer.
There will be improvements to the Highway 16 West corridor from Gauthier Road to the Highway 97 junction, as well as the intersections of Tyner Boulevard, Westgate Road, and Gauthier Road.
A four kilometre section on Highway 16 East between Upper Fraser Road and the Tabor ski area, and a portion of the Old Cariboo Highway will also be resurfaced.
The work is to begin early next month, and expected to be complete by mid-August, at a cost of 3.7 million dollars.
