Former Vancouver Canucks captain Bo Horvat has signed an eight-year contract with the New York Islanders, worth a total of $68 million.
This deal comes one week after he was dealt from the Canucks.
The 27-year-old Horvat had 54 points (31 goals) in 49 games with Vancouver this season.
