No injuries were reported after a structure fire on the 24-hundred block of Rowe Street resulted in $20,000 worth of damage.
Just after 7 am yesterday (Wednesday), Prince George fire crews found smoke coming from the garage.
The occupants were alerted to the fire by their smoke detector and evacuated their home with no injuries.
The cause of the blaze is under investigation and emergency crews remind residents to avoid storing items against heating appliances.
