Firearm threat has PG RCMP searching for suspect

An early morning firearm call has the PG RCMP searching for a suspects identity.

At around quarter after three this morning, the PG RCMP got wind of an adult female that had been threatened by an unknown male.

The suspect was apparently brandishing a handgun at the corner of 5th and Ospika and approached the victim with the gun drawn.

The victim fled and contacted Police, and the suspect has still not been located.

He is described as a First Nations male approximately 6 feet tall, with a black hat, and a black hoodie.

Anyone with information on the identity of this man is being asked to contact the detachment or Crimestoppers.
